Mexico City, May 31, 2024. Hefesto Asesores’ team assisted the Mexican venture capital fund, GC Capital Fund I, in the negotiation, structuring, and implementation of the 8 digits (MXP) divestiture of its equity interest in Amigo Tours. The transaction had a debt and equity component, which required significant synchronization between the different participants in the transaction. This divestment constitutes an additional liquidity event for GC Capital Fund I’s portfolio in favor of its investors, amidst a complex environment in the venture capital ecosystem. This represents great news for the fund, which continues its streak of successful divestments.
