Throughout his professional career, Federico has advised a number of private equity funds in the structuring of public and private investment vehicles, as well as in the negotiation of investments in various classes of companies. He was general counsel of the Mexican federal government’s Fund of Funds, where he structured more than 40 investments in domestic and foreign venture capital funds. He currently advises some of the most disruptive startups in Mexico and abroad.

Federico has counseled several issuers in the process of public offering of securities in BIVA and BMV as well as intermediaries in the securities market in the process of firm placement and best efforts of such securities.

He has experience in the structuring and implementation of alternative investment vehicles including private equity, private debt, venture capital, growth equity, FX and domestic and foreign real estate as well as foreign investment.

Keynote speaker in several Latin American countries and in the United States on topics related to capital raising, investment structuring and scaling business models through inorganic growth, through the incursion into new jurisdictions.

As managing partner of Hefesto Asesores, Federico has extensive experience advising various issuers in the public offering process; he has provided advice to securities market intermediaries in firm placement processes and best efforts of such securities. His solid knowledge and skills have been instrumental in guiding companies and intermediaries in the complex securities market environment.
